MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR
Algonquin sends its` wishes to the membership for a wonderful Christmas as can be had under the COVID conditions and looks positively forward to a return of normal club functions within the coming new year.

MONTHLY MEETING- The next monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 7p.m. Please practice covid-19 guide lines( mask, social distancing, etc)
A cash prize drawing is taken at each monthly meeting. If a members name is drawn and is not present at the meeting, that member will not receive the prize. You must be at the meeting to win. Dave Wilkinson was the lucky winner of $50. Dave donated the $50 to the club. Congratulations, and Thanks Dave. Next month the prize will be reset $50
IBO-Algonquin Archers will host the 2nd leg of the IBO Triple Crown May 28&29 2021

Club House: The floor has been stripped and waxed. Spill clean up can be accomplished with a damp mop but great care should be taken not to leave any water puddles as they can eventually lift the tiles.
A dry dust mop will be available for cleaning and is RECOMMEDED to be used for this purpose
***Tree removal on the practice range has been completed. The practice range and platform are open for practice.
The wood may be taken by any member that would like it. It is piled near the neighbor houses boundary
Archery Shoots- Most are still on hold but information will be sent to the membership when they occur.
GAME DINNER The game dinner been cancelled. However with hunting season in progress this is a reminder to members that we always need game donations of any kind for this event or the next

A skid steer Bobcat (which belongs to Pres. Bob Bruno ) is parked behind the club house to be used for snow removal
Members seeking to sell their unneeded equipment should post their information on the BULLETIN BOARD near the club house entry door. Once the equipment is sold the poster should remove the announcement from the board.

There is always a great need for volunteers to handle the large variety of work activities that are necessary to keep the club, it`s property, and it`s activities in operation.
The club has a program where members can receive a $10/hr credit, for a maximum of 5 hrs, $50, This will apply towards their next dues payment in the following Fiscal year, which is in the month of June.
Donna Rhoads, firstname.lastname@example.org;203-233-4550 must be contacted in order to record any work hours that a member has performed, to keep a total of a members work hours, and to assure the proper credit is applied.

As an archery club, we are very fortunate to have an Indoor Range and 2 outdoor courses on our property: 3-D & Field, . All members need to remember that multiple archers, can be on any of the courses, at any given time.
** SAFETY ALWAYS COMES FIRST
Also, for your awareness, you may see hunters on the property. Do not be alarmed, as these are club members that have permission to bow hunt deer and turkey.
Have fun, Stay Alert, and be aware of other shooters at all times.
